About the event

This course is specifically designed to aid trainers/handlers in the understanding of how to set source/hides to teach concepts, work on specific skill sets in their K9 partner, and develop an understanding of how to modify set ups for other canine teams. Through hands on exercises with numerous odors, we will build on the trainers understanding of scent/odor theory to solidfy concepts for the dogs.

Detection teams in the following disciplines will find this seminar extremely useful: human remains, narcotics, explosives, arson, sport nosework, bedbud, and article search.

We are focused on meeting teams at their level and providing ample opportunity for individualized instruction.  Individuals who find themselves in the role of training officer (either official or implied) will find this class extremely useful.

Registration will be limited to 8 working spots and 3 audits.

This includes board at the Handler's Quarters, field lunches, dinner on Friday/Saturday and a t-shirt.
